Pricing & FAQ
Every custom 3D print is a little different, so I quote based on material, size, print time, and finish. Here’s the pricing structure, supported materials, and the most common questions in one place.
How quotes are calculated
Filament used (grams) + waste
Machine time and complexity
Supports, post-processing, fit checks
If needed (label + packaging)

This is a live estimate based on common shop variables. Final quotes can change after I review orientation, tolerances, and file quality.
That is normal. Many small parts land around 20 to 80 grams and 1 to 3 print hours. If you are not sure, use the quote form and I can calculate those from your file instead.

Common questions
Is there a minimum order?
Yes. The minimum job charge is $12 before shipping to cover setup, machine prep, and cleanup time, even for simple one-off parts.
How is shipping charged?
Shipping is added separately based on package size, packaging, and destination. The calculator shows common USPS flat rate options for quick estimates, and Wilmington, DE pickup by appointment is also available for local jobs.
Are color choices limited?
Standard colors depend on current stock. If you want a specific color, mention it in the quote request and I’ll confirm availability before invoicing.
What happens if a file is not printable?
If the file has thin walls, broken geometry, or support problems, I’ll review it first and let you know whether it needs changes before printing.
Are commercial and repeat orders welcome?
Yes. Repeat orders, prototype iterations, and small business short runs are welcome once the file and settings are approved.
What file types do you accept?
I prefer STL and 3MF. OBJ is also ok. If you have multiple files, upload a ZIP and explain what each part is.
Do you create designs?
Right now I’m focused on printing customer-supplied designs. If you already have a model, I can print it.
What materials can you print?
PLA, PETG, PLA-CF, and PAHT-CF are available for suitable parts. TPU is also available when the job needs flexibility.
What’s typical turnaround?
Quotes are usually answered within 24 hours, and most jobs ship in 2 to 5 business days after payment, depending on size, complexity, and current queue.
Can you improve strength?
Yes. Material choice, wall count, infill, and print orientation can all improve strength. If you select “Not sure,” I’ll recommend settings.
Do you remove supports and clean parts?
Yes. I remove supports, clean edges, and do a quick quality check before delivery.
When do I pay?
Payment happens after the quote is reviewed and approved. I confirm pricing and turnaround first, then send the invoice or payment link before printing starts.
Do you keep files private?
Files are reviewed only to quote and produce the job. If your part has special privacy requirements, mention that in the quote request so I can handle the job accordingly.
Common quality levels
